Warranty Information
Understand who grants the warranty, what may be covered, what is excluded, and how to submit a properly documented request through the authorized network.
The product warranty is granted by XPEL
XPEL, as the owner of the trademark, grants the product warranty under its official terms. Zan Arabia facilitates product verification, guidance, communication, and claim routing in Saudi Arabia; it does not replace the governing XPEL warranty terms.
The exact warranty certificate, installed product, registration status, and official XPEL terms prevail in every case.
Warranty essentials
These questions organize the official policy into a practical guide. They do not expand the warranty beyond the official XPEL certificate and terms.
Who grants the product warranty?
The warranty is granted by XPEL, the owner of the XPEL trademark, and is governed by the official terms and conditions applicable to the installed product. Zan Arabia, as the exclusive distributor in Saudi Arabia, facilitates verification, guidance, and claim routing through the authorized network.
What happens if a manufacturing defect is confirmed?
The defective film may be replaced with a new film of the same type and specifications. If the defect is limited to only part of the installed film, compensation is limited to the affected film area or metres, subject to the approved warranty assessment.
What installed-product conditions may be covered?
Subject to the official product terms, covered conditions may include abnormal yellowing beyond the natural rate, cracking, peeling or tearing not caused by external impact or misuse, abnormal haze or loss of clarity, and film separation from the installed surface without external interference or misuse.
Is every installation automatically eligible?
No. Eligibility depends on the specific XPEL product, installation by a qualified authorized installer, product verification and registration where required, the condition of the original surface, and compliance with the official maintenance and use instructions.
What is excluded because of misuse or improper care?
Common exclusions include unsuitable solvents or acidic/alkaline cleaners, polishing or ceramic products not recommended by XPEL, abrasive washing tools or unsuitable automatic washes, improper storage before installation, use outside the product’s intended application, and installation by an unqualified or unauthorized technician.
Are accidents and external damage covered?
No. Deep scratches caused by sharp objects, collisions, accidental impact, vandalism, fire, mercury exposure, flooding, and other external damage are outside the manufacturing warranty.
Are vehicle paint or glass defects covered?
No. Surface rust, repainting or spraying after installation, and manufacturing defects in the vehicle’s original paint or glass that are not caused by the film are excluded.
How do I start a warranty request?
Verify the XPEL roll or product, contact the authorized installer that completed the installation, and provide the invoice, warranty or registration details, vehicle and installation information, and clear photos or video of the issue. The case may require a physical inspection before a decision is made under XPEL’s official terms.
Do all XPEL products have the same warranty period?
No. The period depends on the product. The official file supplied by Zan Arabia lists 10 years for ULTIMATE PLUS, ULTIMATE FUSION, STEALTH, and PRIME automotive window film, and 7 years for EXO ARMOR. The exact certificate and official product terms always prevail.
